Will Smith was born in the west of Philadelphia 25th of September 1968, he was raised to refrigeration engineer Willard Carroll Smith,because of his charming personality and mischievous behavior Smith , who 's nickname in school was " the Prince "，and later on changed in to "Fresh Prince".

When Smith was a teenager he begins to play rap, he and his childhood friend Jeff Townes(known as DJ jazzy Jeff) formed the "DJ Jazzy Jeff", The "Fresh Prince" Smith served as the lead singer , and Jeff as turntablist and producer. Early 1980s to the 1990s his group of pop and hip-hop music has been very well-known .

Smith's first major acting were in the movie Six Degrees of Separation (1993) and the action film Bad Boys(1995. In 1996, Smith starred in Roland Emmerich's Independence Day. The film was a massive hit, and becoming the second highest grossing film in history.
